Challenge Teams
Each of us can multiply our impact for the expansion of the Gospel by mobilizing others around us to pray. You are probably a part of a small group Bible study, Sunday school class and a church. What if you gave one of these groups a challenge to join the Josiah Venture prayer watch with you?
You can commit together to covering a full day every month, or filling the prayer room for an entire week. You could decide together to cover one block every week for the entire year, such as Monday’s at 9 PM your time, or do one twelve or twenty-four hour stretch together.
Challenge teams give you the opportunity to do just that!

Prayer for missions is an essential and enriching activity of the church. By using challenge teams you can increase the engagement of your friends in prayer for the cause of Christ in missions.
Prayer Warriors
Covering 365 days of uninterrupted 24-hour prayer is quite a challenge. But we are committed to making sure that not one hour in 2017 remains without prayer.
To do that we need a team of prayer warriors who are willing to be informed when there is a need to stand in the gap if some hours in a week are still uncovered.
Prayer warriors hold the line to keep the watch so it can remain unbroken.
If you sign up to become a prayer warrior, you will be one of the ones we will contact when there is a specific need. If you’re able to step into the gap you will keep the fire of prayer burning for Josiah Venture.
Of course there will be more members of the prayer warrior team so if you are unable to respond, we expect someone else will be able to stand in the gap instead.
Updates will go out to the prayer warrior team on a weekly basis when there is a need for prayer coverage.
